The dataset comprises three sub-datasets: daily precipitation (ANUSPLIN-AdjPdly, since 1900), pentad average precipitation rate (ANUSPLIN-AdjP5d, since 1950), and monthly total precipitation (ANUSPLIN-AdjPmly, since 1872), all on a 0.083333°×0.083333° grid. Data are generated from ANUSPLIN surfaces; daily data are based on the Adjusted Daily Rainfall and Snowfall dataset version 2016 (3346 stations).
