Terms of Service
These terms describe the basic scope of the information and services on this website; any formal engagement is governed by the agreement and delivery terms confirmed by both parties.
1. Description of services
Through this website, DeepSData provides: website information and service introductions, the "Requirements Assistant" chat, dataset search and availability assessment reports, browsing of the data library, and offline collaboration services such as data analysis, data governance and dataset customization.
2. Accounts
Some features (such as fully unlocking an availability assessment report) require a registered account. You should provide a valid email address and keep your account and password secure, and you are responsible for activity under your account. You may request account closure via contact@deepsdata.com.
3. Credits and billing
Availability assessment reports offer a free preview. Registering an account comes with a set of complimentary credits; once logged in, each standard search consumes credits, while anonymous searches are a free trial. Reports you generate from your own searches can be viewed in full for free; opening a report shared by someone else or anonymously consumes credits each time. Credits can be topped up via contact@deepsdata.com or WeChat Work. Credits are a virtual service allowance; complimentary credits granted at registration or through promotions cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for cash. Online payment for the overseas version is not yet live — pricing and payment for overseas users will be announced; please contact us.
4. Refunds
An availability assessment report is virtual, information-based content, delivered and visible immediately upon unlocking. If you have concerns about the accuracy of the unlocked content or its consistency with the description, you may contact us to verify after unlocking; where verification shows the issue was on our side, we will re-unlock the report for you or refund the corresponding amount.
5. Nature and limits of the availability assessment report
An availability assessment report is a genuine, page-level search and preliminary assessment. It provides the dataset's source links, the search process, and an item-by-item judgment against the conditions you list. We provide information only; we do not deliver the original data files. Whether the data can actually be downloaded, whether the fields fully meet your needs, and whether everything is a complete match depend on each source's license terms and further verification by the team. Billing is based on the number of searches, not on whether a match is found: even if no fully matching dataset is found this time, the candidate list, approximate sources and item-by-item judgment process still constitute that delivery and are billed as one search.
6. Content and usage rules
You may not submit or distribute content through this website that is illegal, infringing, or contrary to public order and good morals. We will carry out the necessary compliance review of input and output content, and we reserve the right not to process content that violates these rules.
7. Intellectual property and materials
The rights to the requirements and materials you submit remain yours; you grant us a license to use them only to the extent needed to provide the service to you. The ownership and scope of use of the deliverables we provide are governed by the cooperation agreement confirmed by both parties.
8. Limitation of liability
The website information, chat and availability assessment reports are for service introduction and preliminary assessment, and do not constitute a unilateral commitment regarding the outcome of any specific project. The service scope, deliverables, timeline, pricing and acceptance terms of a formal engagement are governed by the project proposal or contract confirmed by both parties.
9. Updates to these terms and contact
These terms may be updated as services change, and updates will be published on this page. To learn more, please contact us at contact@deepsdata.com.
