Terms of Service
These terms describe the basic scope of the information and services on this website; any formal engagement is governed by the agreement and delivery terms confirmed by both parties.
1. Description of services
Through this website, DeepSData provides: website information and service introductions, the "Requirements Assistant" chat, dataset search and availability assessment reports, browsing of the data library, and offline collaboration services such as data analysis, data governance and dataset customization.
2. Accounts
Some features (such as fully unlocking an availability assessment report) require a registered account. You should provide a valid email address and keep your account and password secure, and you are responsible for activity under your account. You may request account closure via contact@deepsdata.com.
3. Credits and billing
Initial scoping is free. Availability reports require signing in to view (dataset names, source links and per-must-have verdicts); search results are not shown to signed-out visitors. Deeper search, report generation, download verification or custom delivery may require a paid order or credits. Registering an account comes with a set of complimentary credits; once logged in, each standard search consumes credits. Reports you generate from your own searches can be viewed in full for free. A shared report link can be opened and read in full online for free; Word/PDF download and email delivery of a report are limited to the report owner. A deep search consumes 10 credits per run (more aliases, search paths and sources, stricter verification; billed per run, no match guaranteed). Credits can be topped up by contacting us at contact@deepsdata.com. WeChat / WeCom is also available for users in China. Credits are a virtual service allowance; complimentary credits granted at registration or through promotions cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for cash. Online payment on this English site is not yet live. Pricing and payment options will be announced separately; please contact us.
4. Refunds
An availability assessment report is virtual, information-based content, delivered and visible immediately once generated; credits already consumed are not refunded for a no-match (see Section 5). Unspent credits are refunded as follows: credits purchased through in-site online payment (Alipay / WeChat Pay, currently on the Chinese site) and not yet consumed can be refunded via self-service in the workspace, returned through the original payment channel; complimentary credits granted at registration or through promotions, and credits redeemed from activation codes, are non-refundable; for credits opened through other channels (bank transfer, WeCom or email arrangements), please contact contact@deepsdata.com to arrange the refund. If you have concerns about the accuracy of a report or its consistency with the service description, contact us to verify; where verification shows the issue was on our side (e.g. the report was not generated, cannot be viewed, or clearly falls short of the service description), we will regenerate it or refund the corresponding credits.
5. Nature and limits of the availability assessment report
An availability assessment report is a genuine, page-level search and preliminary assessment. It provides source links, search notes and a requirement-by-requirement assessment. We provide information only; we do not resell third-party datasets as our own. Whether the data can be downloaded, whether the fields meet your needs, and whether the dataset fully matches your requirements depend on each source's access rules, license terms and further verification by the team. Billing is based on the number of searches, not on whether a match is found. Even if no fully matching dataset is found, the candidate list, approximate sources and requirement-by-requirement assessment still constitute that delivery and are billed as one search.
6. Content and usage rules
You may not submit or distribute content through this website that is illegal, infringing, or contrary to public order and good morals. We will carry out the necessary compliance review of input and output content, and we reserve the right not to process content that violates these rules.
7. Intellectual property and materials
The rights to the requirements and materials you submit remain yours; you grant us a license to use them only to the extent needed to provide the service to you. The ownership and scope of use of the deliverables we provide are governed by the cooperation agreement confirmed by both parties.
8. Limitation of liability
The website information, chat and availability assessment reports are for service introduction and preliminary assessment, and do not constitute a unilateral commitment regarding the outcome of any specific project. The service scope, deliverables, timeline, pricing and acceptance terms of a formal engagement are governed by the project proposal or contract confirmed by both parties.
9. Updates to these terms and contact
These terms may be updated as services change, and updates will be published on this page. To learn more, please contact us at contact@deepsdata.com.
