The dataset contains clinical trial registration records, each corresponding to a trial registration number. Data include registry information from ClinicalTrials.gov and the German Clinical Trials Registry (DRKS), as well as results publications found through manual searches. A data dictionary file (iv_data_dictionary.csv) provides type, description, and levels for each variable. Key variables include:

• iv_version — data version (1 or 2)
• lead_city — city of the lead party (used to associate with UMC)
• facility_city — city of the facility (version 1 only)
• is_dupe — whether duplicated between versions
• identification_step — description of manual search step
• levels_drks — variable levels from DRKS
